A mild windless day –
Working on albums.
In the mail – a present from the Samples. I had to open it at once – it proved to be the Haydn Symphonies 38 & 39 – The latter I have been waiting for years but was never able to run it down. Jim, on our visit last spring, had played parts of it on the piano for us. A heart-warming gesture on their part –
P.M. To Saville’s to buy a tree, wreath and a plant – Poor Bertha has been miserable with a cold the last few days and could not go.
Put up late yesterday, in the coffee-tree, a suet block with seeds – the red-bird visited it –
