Dec. 17 – (Wed.)
I had thought I would be able to work on the “Star Pierces the Clouds” picture, but was unable to get my mind free of petty worries.
Ready up studio a little, then B + I to Buffalo – to bank and some shopping. Home and wrapped up Evie’s presents and mailed them, and to Bailey Market to get a tree. A terrific gale, almost unable to stand up. Got a long needled one for $3 –
Evening – wrapped packages for Sally and Red, Emma + Tim.
B + I a game of Rummy. Hank came to the door to borrow our flashlight. [unintelligible] out for a walk he had lost his license tag.
