Poets and poetry-related vendors and activities will have the Burchfield Penney Art Center on lock down this Saturday for a daylong, first of its kind POETEXPO. The so-called “Entropy” main event at the BPAC will have area presses, magazines, and booksellers (including Peach Mag, BlazeVox, Second Reader Books) selling and trading recent publications, and the Western New York Book Arts Center will be on hand to for a stitch your own journal workshop. Featured poets will also be performing, including Eve Williams Wilson, Robin Lee Jordan, Megan Kemple, and Julio Montalvo Valentin. After that event runs from 1pm-6pm, the party moves over to 100 Acres, the bar inside Hotel Henry. There poets can sign up to record themselves reading one poem and add their work into a “video cypher” to be produced after the event.
