B made candy for church bazaar, which along with M’s I took shortly after noon.
B+I to church supper at 5:30. Good clam-chowder but the ham not so good. Bought a few things afterward. Then home, changed clothes + to the gallery for chamber music concert. I was not on time, half the time I couldn’t listen + when I tried I was irritated. In the Rachmaninoff cello-piano piece, the piano seemed to drown out the cello – the only movement that came thru to me was the slow one – very beautiful.
The young lady in charge of the desk asked for the loan of the original of this year’s Christmas card, which I promised. Mrs. Lyon asking for [unintelligible word] on color reproductions etc.
