A.M. – Bertha & I to Wyoming Village, by way of Blossim, Bullis Rd, Cowlesville, Attica, Middleboro Village. A cold day, with lowering sky, driven by a S.W. wind. A little rain at times. It was an ideal day for driving and we thoroughly enjoyed our outing. The country was beautiful; almost midway between October and November coloring.
Lunch at Wyoming Inn. Very pleasant. The Inn crammed with “antiques” of every description. The two Scotties.
Home by same route, except a detour at the railroad just west of Middleboro, southward, to see the Great Pines – Northern Spy tree by the road. I picked up several (later we ate them, we decided they were the best apples we had eaten in many years.)
Jim calls up, and says he has a 3 month old Springer Spaniel, which he will bring around Saturday or Sunday.
