P.M. – B & I to Chestnut Ridge Park – A chilly day with strong S.W. wind. To the western part – park and for walk up the big ravine. Fallen leaves covered the floor of the stream-bed. Then to extreme S.W. part of the park – park by road & eat our lunch. A view to the south over wooded hills & fields – Beautiful cloud & sunlight effects. Then to east part of park where the biggest trees are.
On the way home we took a drive west on Elmhurst Drive – many new and attractive houses. Then east on Armor Duells Corners Road, & north to Websters Corners road & thence to Union.
Evening – baby-sit so M & H can go to movie.
