After breakfast, I drove to the vats again. It was soon evident that the weather was going to change. Heavy layers of clouds swept in from the north and soon the sun was hidden. I could do little work, so I went back to the lodge. Shortly after lunch the storm broke; for several hours torrential rains came down. I worked all afternoon on the picture forcing it to a finish. (Mr. Siven had offered to make reservations for Thursday noon- although I had said nothing about leaving, I felt perhaps they were having visitors over the weekend and would prefer privacy.) Evening- Mr. Siven in with colored movies of his child, and of the sulphur mining processes, which was very interesting. After he was gone, I seemed very much alone. It was still 66. raining outside.
