One of the most beautiful sights now is a field of dried grass, with clusters or rich purple asters – A glorious October day – the epitome of October, warm and sunny (in the 70’s) with just a slight breeze at times.
We concluded that the most satisfying of all fall colors are orange yellows, oranges, and all variations of these with warm tans and browns. The red of sumacs and swamp maples are unendurable for long – the only red that does not fall is one tinged with orange or better warm brown (such as some oaks) Bedtime music – concertos by Vivaldi.
