Oct. 2 (Sunday) 1949
B+I to early service (Worldwide Communion – Why do I have a vague distaste for such mass demonstrations?) A beautiful day –
We had advised M.A. [Mary Alice] to “sleep in” and she did – Dinner of fried chicken etc.
P.M. – M.A. to Marts – later B+I too dropped in to see the baby and how Mart was.
Home – evening lunch – fried chicken livers with mushrooms –
Take M.A. to train (which left at 9:55). She seemed tired and sad of leaving – (she confessed earlier in the day that at heart she is not a social worker)
