Sept 30, 1914.
Hazy sun-shafted morning. Blue sky made cooler by loose, fast dissolving clouds. No frost.
A warm blue + white September day. Sky deep clear blue, the crispness of which is reflected in the feet-crackled leaves.
A rainbow sunset. Air full of delicate colors. East sky is pink and blue; lemon moon. Tree-coloring has ceased momentarily. The cricket chorus is feebly re-reviving.
There is no discord between me and the world now.
Night wonderful. Moon circled with a beautiful rainbow. Moon sparkled poplar trees. As I get in bed I sit on edge + look out of window. All trees in moonstorm haze, a glitter with silver glint.
