September 28-
A windless warm day with clear skies that only at late afternoon developed sun-swimming mares’ tails.
On frames most of the day – working with great intensity – by four o’clock I had sanded 19 of them, and given them a coat of size.
Exhausted by our days work (Bertha cleaned out the cupboards in the back-hall) we went to bed at 7:30.
