Recently I was out painting near Springville in mid-July, and all at once it is September – what happened to the time in between? It is lost, forever.
In studio making tentative enlargements for the Sparrow–Hawk picture – it is going to work out well. Played the “Afternoon of the Faun” & “España Rapsodie” and then the beloved Dvorak’ quartet opus 106. –
Wonderful music – of the Dvorak’ music I have heard, this quartet with the Trio (Opus 90) seems to me his greatest.
