September 7, 1938-
Almost torrential rains all day-
P.M. get Festag to take “Grain Elevators” by truck to Gen. Pict. Frame Co. to be packed. B & I follow to see it. Under their indirect lighting it looks better than at any time. For the first time I dare to think I have produced a fine picture.
Afterwards we went to the Lafayette to see “Letter of Introduction” and “Danger on the Air” – both extremely enjoyable, well thought out, and with clever dialogue.
When we came out the weather had cleared and it was colder.
