Dark skies, humid, rain at times –
Peggy over to help Bertha with the ironing etc –
In studio, finished adding 4” to the top of Bearded Hills of August”-
Made corrections on the "Drought Sun and Corn”
Afternoon spent on the “Orion in Winter" to which I had added 4” at the top – the sky worked much better, the four inched required that the mystery woods had to be expanded and made taller.
At 4:00 as I was about to get the car out to take Peggy home, Mort and Sylvia came (M. has been to Dr. Barns’) and picked her up.
In the evening I brought last years “White Cloud and Milkweed” and set it up along side te “Winter Moon and White Owl” – to see if we cold release either one. We decided to keep them both –
Eveining music – Rosamunde music and Mendelssohn’s “Mid summer nights Music”.
