B & I out for a drive to try out the new Thru-way (which opened Wednesday).
We soon tired of its perfection, and left it at Batavia and took Route 98 North – A relief to be on a less traveled road, one that permitted pulling off to one side.

A thoroughly enjoyable drive – Many picturesque barns & houses (noted elsewhere in the “Places to sketch Folio) – South on 63 – great quantities of Goldenrod along the road, some stacks over my head. We got a bouquet –
