In spite of a slight dizziness – I managed to get up in time & we went to the early service – by the time the service was over I was feeling better – Late P.M. – Pastor and Mrs. Neeb in to call – we had tea and a short visit to the studio – they brought the sad news that Andy Boldt is failing fast (inoperable cancer). Later – the R’s [Richter’s] over for a visit which we enjoyed – afterwards an hour of TV then for a walk – the waning moon high in the east, made all the trees tall, dark and mysterious – as we passed Clymer’s we noticed a hose spraying at the back of the house so we went back to see their little garden – very charming – a surprising “oasis” in such a spot.
