The arts are an important way children learn about themselves and the world around them. This ten week course designed for Homeschoolers provides a range of developmentally appropriate experiences in our studio classroom. Together we will explore a variety of traditional art materials and techniques and use the exhibitions and permanent collection as an extension of the studio.
This 10 week class will focus on painting, printmaking and mixed media while also offering some student choice mornings. This course is designed to be responsive to the needs and interests of the enrolled students. This workshop is open to students of all ages. The artist /instructor, Clare Poth has 17 years of experience designing programs for homeschoolers. Curriculum support is also available through the instructor; arrangement to be made prior to the start of the program.
