P.M. – Sally and the children arrive- I was out by the studio- The boys came running out- It was nice to see their bright happy faces and hear their “Hi, Grandpa.”
The boys wanted to do work around the yard so Bertha set them to trimming grass and roses; Peggy took charge of Lisa and Laurie, while Bertha & I had a good visit in the house with Sally, she had to leave about 4:30.
The other day Bertha discovered a strange flower near the side door. I looked at the plant today - It is undoubtedly and orchid, but how it got there is a mystery.
