Up at 4:00 To Post’s for raspberries – a freight whistle echoing from the valley; the morning breeze is wet, the sky is grey –
I renewed the poetry of berry-picking –
The calls of the birds is echoed later with the freshening breeze in the clatter of rain thru (sic) the misty trees – on rainy days I see huge grotesque elms more than any other tree – Thru (sic) screen of rainstreaked trees to see a crow flap across the blue overlapping valleyed hills-!
At afternoon, as the sun roared thru (sic) the freakish clouds, a big wind tore thru (sic) the trees in yellow light –
My thoughts are aimless and light not long at any place –
