June 30 – July 13 –
Busy days, working on frames – writing “countless” letters etc. – and marveling at the growing draught.
John called up one evening to jubilantly announce that the Whitney was buying “An April Mood” (helped by Fleischman) and that a friend of FR – Poplack – had bought “Moonflowers at Dusk” and was paying for a color reproduction of it.
Framed and sent to Rehn’s, three pictures. (via Amer. Frtways) “Sun, Moon + Star” – “March Wind 1951” and “A Stormy Day in March” –
