June 26, 1946 – (Wed.) –
Up early and head for home.
A long trip (370 miles) which we never would have accomplished without Cathies [sic] driving. She did the most of it and liked it. Breakfast at Mt. Vernon (ham & eggs). Lunch at Medina – supper at Westfield – home about dark.
