On the train – the hot white sultry morning – sticky cindery coaches – motley crowd of people with various methods of over-coming boredom – the train passes a long line of faded red freight cars and a lurid pink reflection lights up the faces of people – the car sends up the harsh monotonous clackity-clackity rhythm of the wheels.
