More work on the 1917 sketches.
The painters still going full force. It has become a [boring friday] night – to Strand to see “Naked Jungle” fine - The Ants – also a very amusing cartoon.
Today – worked on an enlargement of the “Sweet-Pea” – sunset in the back-alley. My shoulders tortured me probably the result of mowing the lawn a day or so ago.
Basswood in bloom –
Evening, B & I on stroll in back lot – I love the tangle of weeds there – daisies in bloom & also the semi-double crimson wild-roses.
The wren has finally found a mate – we saw her going into the box with a straw in her mouth – while he swung on a branch nearby.
