June 5- (Thurs)
The sight of the first flea-bane of the season always takes my breath away- There is one in full bloom at the far end of the perennial garden- It is the true flower of childhood symbolizing its purity and innocence. To look at these delicate flowers, is like gazing into the face of a sweet child, which has not lost its look of wonder.
The dandelion season is past- all too short. It is another flower of incredible beauty- both as to form and color. More beautiful than the trite orchid, it is not sought after because of its abundance.
Two noble plants.
P.M. to the Great Elm for studies.
Pink Clover by the wood-side
Evening- B & I take M.A. 7 M. shopping
Call Frank on our return. He was just about to call me up.
