A cool misty moist breezy morning – In Park picking lambs-quarters to send to Jim – they are a feast to the eyes studded thickly with silver drops with their frosty lavendar centers-

The day was a development into a windy sunset – first a cold north wind; ragged clouds; presently the clouds solidify into dapples, and gradually white appears – the western sky grows bright – 54. and blue appears – at length he sun comes out full and strong – trees whitened by wind – cold sparkling sunset –

Moon almost on full –

Black windshot trees bending against it, with a flutter of white going across them; lightened by suns afterglow – later white moon, dk blue sky, black black windy trees –
