May 7 (Sun.)
Restless + unable to sleep in the night – a liquid kept forming in the throat that cause a strangling sensation. Consequently by morning I was tired + my nerves raw. Hoping to get more sleep, I did not get up, + so B+M [Bertha and Martha] went to church without me.
Unable to sleep however.
Evening – B+I to Seneca to see “Johnny Holiday” about delinquent and very good.
