Hot and humid —
At breakfast, Bertha started to say “Do you know what I think?” —
I interrupted, “Wait, until I tell you what I think — we should go to Buffalo, have lunch at H’s, and see their flower show” — Laughing she said “That’s exactly what I was going to suggest —
And it turned out to be a most pleasant outing, a good lunch, and the flowers very lavish —
We bought a new hand-bag for Bertha for Mother’s Day —
Work on the drawings morning and afternoon
