A clear sunny day, with strong S.W. wind which kept temperatures that elsewhere were in the 70’s to just 60 –
A.M. put in the hepaticas; I had eagerly anticipated this, but found it hard work on account of the emphysema which constricted my chest – nevertheless, it was nice to working in the sunshine, fixing up a garden that must not be allowed to lapse.
After lunch we had naps, then went food shopping – again a choir –
Bed-time music – the last five of Dvorak’s Legends – then the first five.
