Worked on the “Backyards in Golden Sunlight” and it has gained in unity –
Call from Schenck one day – saying he & his wife were delighted with the little transcription –
One evening – B & I to see “The Country Girl”– a tense, and moving drama –
Visit last night (Wed.) – from Phil Elliot & Russo –
Letter today from Rosie– with a tentative list of all the pictures they want from here.
Last night we had Hank and the youngsters over for dinner – Steaks – I cooked too many, so we ate nothing but steaks and green peas – a delicious meal however.
