A wonderfully typical April day –
Rich rose & RV fore – glen in blending streaks – a Red orange sun with RV glare; goes under clouds & reappears a few moments later as white in a blue green & ochre streak sky – mists increase all morning – wet SW wind – early PM sky darkens - dashing rain – wet pavements glistening lt violet white – burst of sunlight robins sing riotously sky darkens again - & sun comes forth afterwards in a clear sky 6. robins sing riotously sky darkens again - & sun comes forth afterwards in a clear sky – sky blinding white – l & lt green blue, coming forwards in flat tones to dk greenish mustard color – lt brassy color in house roofs – foreground y with O G shadows against blue ; downtown - Buildings in graduations of sun’s rays – lake – wonderful lt mauve v on l &, then lt BG, & pure white at shore, - sky RV, then mustard V to cerulean Sun blind white, with brill Y glow, v finally rose Carth
- ice on lake – med grey green, brilliant mauve blue hunks; water lt yellow -
Afterwards – water chopping rich green & violet topped with violently wriggling rings of white & mustard color –
