I planned to sketch after lunch, but before I got back to the car, it began to rain – almost as once it changed to snow & soon a small blizzard was raging – I sat in the car, listened to the radio & ate my lunch (cold chicken etc. very delicious.).
The sky cleared & I had hopes of being able to paint after all – took another short walk in the woods, and was all the more turned by its somber foreboding – But before I could return again, another blizzard raging – So I gave it up and headed for home. –
At Gardenville all is clear – no rain –.
