A clear wonderful day – Robin fills the rapid air as it sweeps thru the tree depths with song – their branches seem to vibrate with light –
P.M. To Bentley’s Farqhar’s & Covered Bridge with JL & A –
All the color in the trees is intensified in the trees in a wonderful orange, pink & purple haze-like clouds above the ochre turf – Kites waving against the sky – Redbird- Bluebirds numerous and fill the air with soft murmurings – the call of a redwing in the sun yellowed marsh late in the afternoon is fine – a pair of sand-pipers in silvery flight scud low over the marsh, two sparkles of white in the sun-thistle downs floating in the wind – the sound of bluebirds along the Canfield Road and the sight of their vivid blue on the dead fields; fitted well with the spider-web glint among the trees.
