Mar. 20 Sat. First song sparrow and morning dove
A.M. – cold + raining – soon changed to wet snow –
In studio writing in the journal & studying pictures. In the mail at long last the Dvorak Fifth – with my “November Evening” on the cover.
P.M. The “Open-House” of the new Highway garage where Hank works. Hank takes B to baby-sit while he and Mart & Peggy go to the exercises. After a tour of the place, we sat down. Scheduled to start at 2:00, at 2:30 they still hadn’t begun. So, as Peggy was restless it was decided I could “escape” with her, take her to her home.
When I arrived home a special delivery from Lena –
Drawings have been selling since and now over 100 items have been sold!
Played the new Dvorak recording – wonderful playing and reproductions – This is a happy episode in my career.
