9 P.M. – with Frank on walk to Blossom by way of Seneca Creek Road –
A beautiful, perfect winter night – the moon in the full – so bright that the mountains are barely visible – the snow creaks under our feet…
Generally moonlight has a sinister quality but not tonight – it is like another kind of day…
Before getting to Blossom – a hill shuts off our view – it glitters under the stark white moon and we can imagine we are at the Arctic Circle.
