A windy night + rain   spring sky, with weird rhythms; feathery trees; large ochre + cerulean spots in sky; buds of maple swelling   The sky glows + throws its light over the tops of things; glittering house roofs –

A glittering midmorning – vivid sunlight; high wind, paper flies in big sweeps thru the air –

P.M. To Pinehollow – Booming gray scud clouds – terrific wind – weird glitter of light over the ground – distance a rich blue violet – Brilliance to air – mighty trees rock back and forth –

At head of woods a wonderful event – the flight of leaves down a little hollow towards me; they came rushing with a rapid glitter + rattle + fill the air – the roar in the tree tops is deafening -
