Erin go Bragh! Hurrah for Ireland! Everyone had green or orange on to-day.
Spring is coming back. It has been cloudy all day but it has been growing steadily warmer and the snow is melting fast. Just after school the soft grey misty clouds began to break up and the sun, kept appearing and disappearing orange light over the sky. The grey vague clouds seemed motionless; once the sun, shone forth full and strong but almost immediately sank into a smooth expanse of mist, and became a dull orange ball. I went out-doors to view him better; he was getting a deeper orange and presented a strange sight. All around were the bare trees, grey and dirty, the dirty black roofs of building; the blackened dirty ground; over all the misty dams of grey sky and in all these softened gloomy colors was that round red disc ever deepening.
