Charles E. Burchfield (1893-1967), March Wind, 1926; watercolor, 37 1/2 x 50 1/4 inches; The Cleveland Museum of Art, Purchase from the J. H. Wade Fund 1928
This was the coldest day of the winter. It was cloudy, the sun only shining a little in the morning. The wind was very cold and blew straight and hard from the west.
After supper, King and I went to the show, “The Blue Monster”, which was very funny and had good actors.
