A vivid sunrise – long bars of scarlet clouds extending from NE to SE – with an intensified ruby glow almost due east – I thought this meant rain or snow, but it was sunny all day with only a few high white cirrus clouds here and there – in short a wonderful March day –
A.M. to Drs, Arberman + Gurney – afterwards to framers to pick up the mats I had ordered for Mart and myself –
After lunch, Mart came over and in the studio, we put covers on her pictures (which looked beautiful in their new mats) – We tried them, + then she took them home to title and make out a list etc.
Sirius + Orion are in the same position now, at 10:00 as they were at midnight on Feb. 21.
