*(add to March 3) –
The Olmsteds called (while I was out in the studio) to tell of a terrible tragedy that has befallen Harold’s daughter “Mimsy” (Mrs. Harold Peterson, Jr.) – about a week ago fire broke out in their home – Mr. P smelled smoke, called to Mimsy (who on account of her crippled condition, slept on the first floor) to get out, and drive for help) while he opened the door to a room to telephone for help – A blast of fire enveloped him, killing him almost instantly. The whole house with all of its contents was completely destroyed.
