A.M. to Buffalo – to bank & get glass. First drive M for her check up with Dr. Potter. I shook hands with Potter – When I said “I don’t suppose you remember me” he countered “Yes, I know, I brought you into the world”! A great old fellow – a genius.
At the glaziers I was fascinated by a little machine the cutter had, which he “shot” bits of diamond shaped metal into the sides of the frame to hold the glass in place.
Home and framed the picture & boxed it & took it over to the express office.
Evening – B&I played one game which she won by 5 points – then to bed early. Shortly after Pal created a disturbance by rushing downstairs & barking & whining. B finally went down to investigate – and discovered M & H’s dog “Chopper” sitting disconsolately on the front step. She brought him in, much to Pal’s rage (he had to be tied up). When Art came in he took the dog home.
