A.M. Studying & discussing the show at Rehn’s in April. We about come to the conclusion that I should confine the show to woodland scenes & related nature fantasy.

To the Saturday class. The effects on the city beautiful – William St – South sunlight in bands across the ice – & snow-bound street, brilliant sunshine on the snow-covered roofs against the deep black pointed peaks or gable-ends. Delaware, all the elms covered with driven snow, gleaming against the deep blue sky – the air full of a bracing tang –
