Letter to Leona Prasse about the show next fall. Lie in bed and listen to N.B.C. concert.

For a short walk. How pleasant and heart-warming it is to walk through the village and see all the trees I know and love so much – each one individual and like an old friend.

Evening – Marcus & Betty [Marcus and Betty Pratt are the brother and sister of David Pratt http://bpac.co/a:846. The Pratt family were active artists in the community and good friends of Burchfield. David was the director of the Art Institute from 1949-52] in for a visit on their way home from the Students Show at the Art Institute.
