Feb. 7 – Sun.
Communion at 8:30 service. Beautiful winter morning.
Late P.M. – B +I to “Cinema” to see Disney’s latest “matinee” film – “The Living Desert” – a wonderfully fascinating and absorbing story of plant, animal, + insect life in our American desert – almost his best –
Two “cartoon” with it – on a piece on Poe’s, The Tell-tale Heart with settings reminiscent of Eugene Berman, and a Disney cartoon of Ben + Me – a well done but somehow pointless tale of how it was a little mouse that invented Franklin’s inventions + wrote the preamble to the Declaration of Independence. Some fascinating storm effects.
