HarborCenter is teaming up with Canalside for their first ever Winter Fest! It starts Friday night with an outdoor happy hour at 716 Food and Sport. Then there will be ice skating, horse drawn carriage rides, and kids games, and a heated food tent with a DJ through Sunday. This is all to celebrate the medal round of the IIHF Women’s Under 18 World Championship.
Experience nature from the warmth of the Burchfield Penney Art Center! It’s new exhibit, called “Exhalted Nature: The Real and Fantastic,” includes dozens of works by Charles Burchfield. Many of them have never been in Buffalo before. You can check it out for free on Friday. It’s an M & T Bank Second Friday and admission is free all day from 10 to 8.
They’ll be saying “ohm” at the Albright-Knox on Saturday. The next “Art and Yoga for Fun and Relaxation” class goes from 9 to 10 am at the art gallery on Elmwood Avenue. Yoga mats will be provided. You have to register and pay in advance at www.albrightknox.org.

UB North will be the place to be for free indoor fun on Sunday. Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY is taking over Alumni Arena for a family day.! There will be basketball, swimming, exercise classes, bounce houses, and more. It runs from 2 to 5, and the Bulls mascot will be there for pictures with all the kids.
